The mission of the Southern
Nevada Oral History Project
for students at the Northwest Career and Technical
Academy, Las Vegas Nevada
to
document, transcribe and donate to the
Veterans History Project at
the Library of Congress area veteran's oral histories,
helping to build a sense of community,
preserve for posterity veteran's history,
and develop an appreciation for the sacrifices of those who served
in defense of our freedom and liberty.
"As we express our gratitude we must never
forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but
to live by them."
