The mission of the Southern Nevada Oral History Project
is to have students at the Northwest Career and Technical Academy, Las Vegas Nevada
document, transcribe and publish area
 veteran's oral histories, helping to build a sense of community,
preserve for posterity veteran's history,
 and develop an appreciation for the sacrifices of those who served
in defense of our freedom and liberty.
